English Teacher required at ALS House for the 2020-2021 academic year

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic teacher of young learners to join our online and face-to-face English tuition team, helping us to run regular lessons with individuals or groups of younger students.

🔸Key Responsibilities

➡️Hold regular classes with individuals or groups of younger English learners to help them develop their basic language skills.
➡️Liaise with management to ensure punctual delivery of lessons.
➡️Feedback to colleagues to help continue improving our curriculum.

🔸Person Specification / Skills

☑️Level 5 (Ofqual) as a minimum requirement
☑️Teaching experience with young learners required
☑️Strong understanding of language instruction with young learners - e.g. phonics, vocabulary, pronunciation.
☑️Fluent English speaker - ideally native speaker
☑️High attention to detail and accuracy.
☑️Good organisational and time management skills.
☑️Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
☑️Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues.
