LERC2025: Advancing Innovation and Research in Language Education
The 6th International Conference on Language Education and Research (LERC2025), organised by Applied Language Studies House (ALSH) and hosted in Birmingham, UK, took place on 1–2 November 2025 with great success. The event brought together over 150 educators, researchers, and practitioners from 14 countries to share innovative ideas, research findings, and pedagogical approaches that are shaping the future of language education.

Next Steps
The LERC2025 Conference Proceedings will be published in the Journal of Applied Language and Linguistics (JALL) in December 2025.
Post-conference coverage and short-form versions of selected presentations will appear in EL Gazette from November 2025 to February 2026.
